Our Story

The Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer

We are building a piece of public art about the power of prayer, planned to be built on the outskirts of Birmingham. Made of a million bricks with each one representing an answered prayer. With the land now secured we will begin building in late 2020. It is our ambition to make hope visible to the nation and for this to be continued through generations to come.

Our Vision

Preserve the Christian Heritage of our nation

God has faithfully and powerfully moved throughout the history of the UK, whether by answering the prayers of St Augustine in the 6th Century, to the millions of people who queued up outside churches to pray for the men on the beaches of Dunkirk. We want to celebrate and remember all the prayers God has answered throughout our nation’s history. The Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer will protect and preserve thousands of stories that God has answered throughout our nation's history.

Ignite a faith for prayer on a national level

Visitors will come to The Wall of Answered Prayer and be inspired that every single brick in its construction represents a story of Jesus answering prayer. Those of faith and no faith will be encouraged and inspired to ‘try praying’ to Jesus.

Online: Imagine everyone in the country having free access to a database of a million answered prayers. They can type in whatever storm or situation of life that they’re going through, and they’ll be able to see first-hand the God who has done it before, and is more than faithful enough to do it again. Their faith will be lifted and encouraged to seek Him for an answer.

Reveal Christ to the nation

It is, we believe, a time for Christians to be bold about their faith. Around 500k journeys will travel past this monument every week, and we estimate that 200k people will visit this site annually. Millions each year will see the image of The Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer. We hope that as people interrogate the answered prayers, and comprehend the colossal nature of what they are witnessing, they will personally encounter the God who answers. Furthermore, we believe that this will also embolden Christians to share their faith and their stories of answered prayer more freely.
